Snapfitted these a while back but never did get down to painting them.
In light of a recent post I saw on the Singapore Gundam Society (on whether a gloss black coat is required when doing candy tone), decided to have some fun trying a bit of variation using this SD kit to see the effect.
Summary of plans (for the red Quebeley):
- Head & left arm: Primer + Gloss Black + Gold + Clear Red
- Skirt & right arm: Primer + Gold + Clear Red
- Wings with the circle patterns: Primer + Gloss Black + Chrome + Clear Red
- Wings with the 3 strip pattern: Primer + Chrome + Clear Red
- Left leg: Primer + Gloss Black + Silver + Clear Red
- Right leg: Primer + Silver + Clear Red
Let's hope it don't come out horrendous. haha.
I've cleared the seamlines for the red Quebeley, next up is the actual paint work
