Knock off work past 7 today but still decided to head down to Compass Point (the location for GBWC Singapore this year).
Arrived about the time they were closing the entries (putting up the last 2 submissions).
Have to say it was worth the effort going down.
Managed to get a good look at all the entries (+ photos) without the main crowd blocking the views.
In my humble opinion, the standard of the submission is of a high quality, can't really decide which one I think will win the Singapore title.
If you so happen to read my post and the event is not over, you might want to consider making a trip down to Compass point for this event.
Some of the kits are definitely worth the effort to go down and see it in person.
Let's start off with the promotion pamphlets and some shots of the event site
Junior Category
Of all the Junior Category entries, the first 3 posted below caught my eye as being very well done & imho potential for winning.
There's even one for the recent hit "Gundam Style"! Haha
Open Category
I summarize my views of the entries as follows:
- 4 "monster" builds (including Toymaker's Odin and Waylander's Morrigan) &
- 1 fantastic battle damage dio; 1 "monster" sized dio; &
- a hell lot of great quality work!
The judges are going to have a hard time deciding on the winner.
More photos less talk.
