Another MC Model done up.
Tried using metal parts for the head vulcans, not too bad.
This one is not really pose-able, very limited movement range but nonetheless still looks good!

Was a bit sick so delayed the spray painting on this one (not good to be wearing the mask while having a flu).
Spray painting done.
The purple scheme looks reasonable.

Might leave some flaws as-is depending on my mood. (cannon white got scratched quite a fair bit; behind part of the shoulder armors exposed the previous red color)
It's about the fun of building for me so mood counts a lot!

Something new tried for this: handpainted the eyes rather than use the stickers provided.
Next up some handpainting + panel line + decals.

There's quite a bit of variation for the weapons so should be able to take a number of different shots for the finished kit.

M-Con 2012

Learn about this local modeling contest from M-Workshop last week when I popped by to buy some clear color paint.

Decided to pop by to take a look even though I'm more into Gunpla than tank/people models.

In any event, might see some good dioramas.

As expected, the displays were mainly tanks, ships, airplanes, figures etc.

There's a few gunpla submission too.

Took some pictures of the models that got the gold award and those that I think looks good.
